We will have our normally scheduled Torah class tonight, Tuesday 12/11 at 7PM. Tonight is the last night of Chanukah, so bring your menorahs and we will light them before class.

In this week's portion (Vayiggash) we witness the two kingly sons of Israel, Joseph and Judah facing off in a confontation that will in the end bring the entire family together. Tonight we will also discuss the dual nature of Messiah as he fulfills these two kingly roles in our history. Mashiach ben Yosef and Mashiach ben David are the two roles that the Talmud speaks of regarding the Messiah. Understanding these roles from a rabbinic perspective helps us put Yeshua's death and resurrection into perspective for others in our community.
